11 days Travel : Great South Atlantic Coast, Imperial Cities and Sahara Desert

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Pickup airport and depending on the arrival time can visit the mosque of King Hassan II. Night in hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca to Essaouira

After visiting Casablanca, direction to Essaouira and we will walk through “the corniche”, then continue to El Jadida, old Portuguese fortress that will travel safely, follow the coastal road to Asfi-Essaouira, where we can enjoy the charm of its streets and its people. Night in Hotel or Ryad.

Day 3: Essaouira – Marrakech

A day to visit Essaouira - a coastal town providing an excellent opportunity to relax on the beach. The Medina of Essaouira is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage site, it combines history and culture with modern cafes and restaurants. Essaouira has a long promenade with a large, sandy beach. It is safe to swim here, though, as usual, parents should accompany their children in the water. There are many activities taking place on the beach, families are enjoying the beach along the coast line. This is a perfect opportunity to get away from the city rush and enjoy the cooler climate of the coastal town of Essaouira. Departure for Marrakech to reached in less than three hours, Dinner and overnight at Hotel or Ryad.

Day 4: Visit Marrakech

Morning guided tour of Marrakech, The rest of the day free to walk the streets and souks, Dive into its vast market, the endless souks, visit the impressive Plaza Djemaa L’Fna, the heart of the old medina, lose yourself in the music, snake charmers, singers, monkeys, orange juice shops, storytelling …At night special dinner with entertainment, Night in Hotel or Ryad.

Day 5: Marrakech – Ourazazate

Departure after breakfast across the High Atlas through a port of Tizi-N’tichka in 2260 meters altitude, then turn off on a track to visit the Kasbahs Ait Ben Haddou, where they filmed several famous movies like Gladiator, Obelix, Sahara … Penolope Cruz, arrival Ouarzazate. Night in Hotel.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Todra Gorges

We left the palm grove of Skoura address its Kasbahs, crossing the valley of roses, by track to reach the Dades Valley and its gorges, arrival at Todra Gorges. Night in hotel.

Day 7: Todra Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast, we go from Toudra gorges to Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way. We’ll pass through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet , And then continue to Merzouga, and spend the night in a traditional hotel in Merzouga.

Day 8: Merzouga

After breakfast we will go around all the dunes of Erg Chebbi see the two oasis of Merzouga, nomadic lands, stop in the town of KHAMLIA (original inhabitants of Sudan) to listen to African music. Return to the hotel at noon and in the afternoon we will go with the camels to an oasis in the middle of the dunes, with a distance of one hour and a half to sleep in Haima (an unforgettable night). Dinner and overnight in Nomad tent.

Day 9: Merzouga – Fez

After returning to the camels and showering departure to Rissani, Morocco’s first imperial city, we pass the Ziz valley with its panoramic view of palm trees and gorges, once the Tizi-n-Talghomt, Midelt reach by ifran to Fez,…Night in Fez.

Day 10: Visit Fez

One day to discover the cultural capital of Morocco. You can visit several monuments: Medersa (Koranic schools): Chahrij, Bou Inania Attarin. Souks, Fes El-Jedid, Karaouine Mosque (first university in the world). Night in Hotel or Ryad.

Day 11: Fez - Casablanca

Leaving Fez in the morning, depending of your flight time to visiting Meknes and passing through Rabat,... Journey’s End.
